QUASAR'S THE NAVIGATOR
Thank you Alice and Jerry Hastings (Suncrest Kennels - Virginia) for
Alec. Alec, is still in wonderful condition, but now retired at almost
13 years old. Even though professionally handled by Summerwind, Alec was
never able to get his missing majors. Alec's tail was broken, years
before I bought him. After two years of serious campaigning, we were not
able to find any judges who would forgive Alec's broken tail, and reward
him the missing majors needed for obtaining his championship title that
he so deserved. This is understandable, if you note the outline of the
beautiful dog was ruined in his pictures below. Alec is now sterile, but
was one HELL-OF-A stud dog, very prepotent for stamping his produce with
his very famous "Abraxas-y"

This is my dad, BIS CH Kasban's Tuff Enuff - "Tuffy"! Note, "Tuffy" is the exact color of my granddaughter Stormi, how did that happen? ~ Alec

Bruce Sutton 1946 - 2003. You'll be missed by everyone who was lucky
enough to know you, especially the dogs, whom you treated so
wonderfully.

was handling Alec---This is a good example of why Alec retired missing his majors *NOTE his
broken tail ;'-(

The baby in the very big snood is my beautiful, beautiful Alec at about 3 months old, with his k-9 daddy "Tuffy", CH Kasban's Tuff Enuff. Thank you Alexis for this! It truly made my day. NOTE: Alec's puppy tail!!! All New-Navigator owners: Tuffy is your puppy's great grandfather!

October 30th 2002. My beautiful aging Alec. These are current pictures of Alec now 12 years old.
He is still doing pretty good, but I can't say much more, because I know each day is a gift, and I know this gifts time will run out one day. Alec has made Christian (his grandson) for me, so now Alec will live on through Christian, long after he is gone.
I just found this pic, 21 months after Alec has gone to live in Doggie-Heaven! Just look at all the love in this animals eyes! 10/2005.
I
wanted to thank Alexis Smith (Quasar's Kennels), Alec's breeder for
sharing all the new baby pictures of Alec you see in the website, and most
importantly for breeding the lovely "Tuffy"(Ch Kasban's Tuff Enuff) and
"Darla"(Ch Sherpol's Darla) together back in 1991. If Alexis had not
bred Tuffy and Darla
I would not only not have been blessed to be Alec's mom, but most of the
ZoSo's dogs as we know them today -- simply would not exist. I think
all the ZoSo owners should be aware of how grateful we are to Alexis. My
beloved Alec has been gone since Nov 2003, but his quality, soul and
spirit lives through his children and grandkids, this is especially true
of the "New Navigators".generation. Thank you, thank you, thank you Alexis!
