The lion thought he would
eat the mouse for his dinner. The mouse began to talk to the lion. "Please, Mr. Lion, I meant no harm when I ran into you" said the mouse. |
"I was just playing and having fun."
The mouse asked the lion to set him free.
"If you let me go, perhaps some day I will be able to help you" said the mouse.
The lion roared. "You are so little, you could never help me."
He laughed at the little mouse and set him free.
