The mouse ran and ran through the jungle looking for the lion. He ran as fast as his little legs would carry him. He saw the lion caught up in a big net. "Oh dear" thought the mouse.

"How will I set the lion free."

The little mouse jumped up on the back of the lion. He looked at all the knots in the rope.

"I will help you" the mouse said to the lion.

"You cannot help me" said the lion.
