Lesson 2: Car Trends

Have you noticed that guys get mad when you ask:  "Why is your hood black? What happened to your car? Why are your rims white/bronze/black? Eww.."

Black Car parts: Carbon Fiber is actually a super strong, lightweight material to make car parts out of. This is what it looks like close up and far away.. yes, it is very expensive.. this does not mean u can sit  on it(while modeling) at the car shows.. the Clearcoat will crack... unless u want to pay them back $550+ shipping.. avoid sitting on hoods..

Different Color Rims: Why do they not match the car? well the main reason is because boys are colorblind! (just kidding!). it's typically the JDM crowd that has off color rims in bronze, black and white. These are rims only made in Japan which makes them a rare commodity.

rims also come in multi-piece style.. 3 piece(lip, spokes and centercap).. etc.. multi-piece rims usually cost more than one piece rims.. 
  

Rice? JDM? What?

What does that mean?? Oh so wonderful Japanese to English translations.. its fun to read translated text on products, rims and on the boxes.. while we get the general idea of what they are saying.. we still tilt our head at what we're reading.. Darn those Japanese.. what were they thinking..
