Super Wario Bros. 2

Adventures in Subcon

Story:
After failing to end Mario's stardom early, Wario and Waluigi travel into Marios dreams, hoping to reveal some sort of weakness he may have that they can use in their next attempt. However, they are surprised to find themselves in the world of Subcon, right in the middle of Mario 2! It was then and there that they realized that if THEY could free the Subcons, then THEY would be the heroes, as well as the stars! Unfortunetly, they turned around and noticed that Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach were right behind them...

"Ah, crud buckets," Wario sighed.

"Hey there, Wario!" Mario said. "What are you doing here? I'm sorry I forgot to invite you to the picnic, but my mind has been so clouded lately..."

Wait a second, Wario thought. At this point in time, Mario hadn't yet realized that hated his plumbing guts. I can use that to my advantage.

"Well, I was on my way to visit you and Luigi of course!" Wario said. "Luigi, you remember your twin brother Waluigi, no?"

"Hmph. He doesn't look a thing like me." Luigi muttered. "Mario, um, can I do a little more to help out this time around?"

"Uh, um, well, we'll see..." Mario stuttered.

"Hey, so you've heard the voices too?" Waluigi broke in. "Wario and me were gonna go look into that. How about we help you guys?"

"Well sure!" Mario agreed "What can it hurt?"

Hehe... you're fame, for one... Wario evily thought.
