| INTRODUCTION AND DEFINITION |
Pakistan came into existence as an independent state on 14th August 1947. This was the result
of the successful struggle of the Muslims of the sub-continent which they had been carrying for
many years. The Muslims of the sub-continent wanted such an independent homeland for themselves
in which they could live without and restriction. The struggle of the Muslim of the subcontinent
became fruitful under the leadership of Quaid-I-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and they were successful
in achieving a seperate independent homeland for themselves. |
