What I like to do
First of all I would like to say that I am a believer in God. I love to spend my time with other youth and other beleivers. I am always in Freeport involved with the Ministry Team, the Youth Group, or Small Groups. For other activities I like to Snowboard, Ski, and Snowmobile in the winter. For summer activities I like to ride bikes, roller blade, swim, soccer, and also spend time with my friends. I want to go Bungi Jumping and Ski Diving when I am older. I love to stay active.
Music
I had always enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. I never really liked boy bands or some female singers. I just dont like their sound. I always end up singing every song, no matter if I liked it or not. I guess I could blame my friend Ashlei for that one. I love bands like Lifehouse, DC Talk, Newsboys, Third Day, and many others. I did listen to Staind, Kid Rock, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, and other bands like that. Now that I have had a change of heart I don't listen to those groups anymore. My friend and I smashed those CD's on the street by her house. Now I listen to Christian music and some secular music. The secular music that I do listen to is not depressing. I choose music without swear words in it.
Family
First of all I would like to say that I am adopted, that way everyone understands my family tree a little more. Right now I am living in a home with my Mom and Dad that adopted me. I have two brothers that lived here also, but they graduated and moved out. My one brother is my blood brother, we were adopted together. He is now in the Air Force, at Mildenhall England. My other brother is from Korea. He is in college for Culinary Arts (Chef). I have a sister that lives in Seattle, she is from my dad's first marrige (dad that adopted me). She had a baby, Lauryn, the day after my birthday (May 23). I have also just found my blood sister October 19th, this year!!!! And so I found my biological mom and the rest of the family.
Air Force
This is it everyone, on October 19th 2001 I signed up for the USAF (United States Air Force)!!!! I left for Chicago Thurs. Nov, 15 at 4:00. Arrived at the Ramada Inn in Chicago around 7:00. We stayed overnight and had to wake up at 4:00 in the morning. The bus left at 4:45 to take us to the MEPS. We had testing all day and I couldnt count how many times I had to sign my name on dozens of papers!!! We were all done by 4:00 and we left from the MEPS back to Freeport. I got home around 8:30pm Friday. It was a long day but I passed every test they gave me and I was not disqualified. I leave for basic sometime between June 15 and Sept 15. Im not sure exactly when yet. I am trying to get a job as Chaplain Assistant, but I wont find out what I will be doing until I get to basic training. But anyways I just wanted to share with everyone this exciting news.
