A New Hope is probably the best movie of the Star Wars saga in my opinion. Most people are probably wondering why I don't think The Empire Strikes Back is the best. I'll tell you why.The acting is solid, the story is outstanding, and everything about the movie is great. I just like it a little better than ESB, that's all. It introduces the characters that bring freedom back to the galaxy. After the Special Edition was done to A New Hope I think it has the perfect amount of CG. They didn't go overboard changing everything but A New Hope has good special effects and a great story. The only bad thing about the Special Edition is Jabba. Jabba already looks really outdated. His eyes are just terrible. When the original DVD's are released hopefully they'll fix him up a little. In A New Hope, Obi-Wan recruits Luke Skywalker and teaches him the ways of the force. They to go to Mos Eisley and try to find passage to the Alderaan system. That is where they find Han Solo and Chewbacca. Han takes them to Alderaan in the Millenium Falcon but there was no Alderaan. It was destroyed by the Empire. Then they see the Death Star and are sucked to it. That's where Obi-Wan finds Darth Vader. Obi-Wan is is killed by his former apprentice in a light saber duel. Luke ends up destroying the dreaded Death Star in his X-Wing and the rebels score their first big victory. In the end, A New Hope is the best Star Wars movie.

I would give A New Hope a 10 out of 10
