My major is in the field of sociology. This
field studies the interaction among people in society. The way people
react to differ situations they are in depends on many different factors.
Part of the study of sociology is to learn what these factors are that
lead people to react in the way they do and to learn how people can live
in harmony together. Since we are social beings, sociology allows us
to find theories as to why there are different social classes, economic classes,
etc. These theories help us understand each other better so that we
can live in more social harmony.
