MODIFICATION SEQUENCE
The following details will explain some of the general ways to modify your Turbo Vehicle for enhanced performance.
1,
Ensure your vehicle is Roadworthy and complies with local Motor Vehicle Regulations in your country.
2,
Have your car serviced with all fluids and hoses replaced also for best reliability.
3. AIR FILTER
Replace AIR FILTER with Alternate type.
As mentioned, the foam type air filter seems to have been proven in racing and extreme power conditions by allowing much better air flow while still doing its job of removing dust, dirt and grime from harming your sensitive high speed turbo and engine internals.
DO NOT OPERATE WITHOUT ONE FITTED TO YOUR ENGINE!!
I have personally found that the FINER FILTER that is available for most vehicles does the job well, while being very cost effective
. I think that I have had a FINER FILTER for more than five years and still have the same bottle of special goo that you have to knead into the foam liner after washing out the dirt with turps. I am sure its good for a few years yet.
Also explore the difference a cooler plug can make.
Don't use projection type plugs as these can tend to cause pre-ignition.
I have noticed some articles on a new capacitive top device that makes claims to be able to improve ignition under all conditions, and I may try a set as they could improve my oil infected mixture at the moment.
