Details:
The main event on SSW's November 14th show was to be Beau James &
K.C. Thunder defending the SSW Tag Team titles against Death &
Destruction in a 2 out of 3 falls match. K.C. Thunder was unable to make
the show due to prior committments, so Dr. Mike Cooper took his place.
SSW Commissioner Ken Bowles, however, ruled that the titles were still
on the line. James, as always, had an ace up his sleeve. Ring announcer
Eddie Fantastic, who made his debut on this evening, played a role in the
outcome of the match. The first two falls were split by both teams. In the
3rd fall, Death & Destruction had Cooper set up for their finishing move, a
Roger Anderson clothesline off the top rope while Frank Parker held him
up in the air. However, Beau James shoved Cooper, and he and Parker
knocked down referee James McHone, while Anderson's clothesline hit
James. He covered James, but the referee was still out. Eddie Fantastic ran
into the ring and made the three count. Anderson got up, thinking he had
won, and James came up from behind him and got the pinfall as McHone
got back up to his feet.
In other title news, Brooklyn Bad Boy #1 unseated Danny Christian to win
the SSW Appalachian title in what has to be considered a big upset.
Brooklyn Bad Boy #2, who was at ringside, spelled the difference in this
match. The two men will have a rematch on November 28th.
