I think some people have this beautiful romantic image of castles. Well, while castles do have a romantic air about them, they are far from beautiful. Most castles these days are ruins. To me, they are historic, and the very few I saw that were still lived in had been so modernized on the inside that they are only a relic of their former images.
I only have outside pics of these castles up because the inside pics I took did not turn out right at all. They turned out very dark and so unsuitable to even look at as a pic that trying to scan them in they looked totally horrific!
Now onto the part everyone is waiting on (though I think they will be sadly disillusioned!). Edinburgh
