As we meandered our way south from Aberdeen towards Stratford-upon-Avon we drove through the Lake District. This is a very colorful part of England. We stayed in a great holiday resort and town called Windermere.
There are some wonderful gardens and scenic walks around this town. It sits on a lake with several cruises, but we weren't there long enough to take one of them. However, this is on my list of things to do when I get to go back.
