LONDON

Jan and I took a 4 day vacation to London and I have to say I hated almost every minute of it. I did meet a couple of his friends while there. We left Aberdeen on Friday morning around 7am, landed in London about 11am, rode the underground to Chiswick Park, met his friend, Patrina who took us to the bed and breakfast, where we spent the next 3 nights. After checking in, I phoned Karron and we agreed to meet in Covent Gardens the next day for lunch. We had a grand time that day, didn't we, Karron?

While in London, I saw Trafalgar Square, the Royal Mall, the Palace, Piccadilly Circus

and Leicester Square. By Sunday I was so tired, that while drinking my coffee that morning, and watching the Londoners rush by, I looked at Jan and Said, "Can we just go home to Aberdeen?"
I am not your typical tourist or sightseer. I am not into aimless wandering, give me a specific destination and I am fine. Since we weren't to leave till the next day, I told Jan to get me to Baker St.
I was in my element when we got there. I love Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick, Watson.
We had coffee at the Sherlock Holmes Hotel in the Dr. Watson's Bar.
We ate one night in Soho at a lovely Oriental restaurant.
During the aimless wandering Jan put me through the first few days we were there, I saw the Thames River,

The Globe Theatre, the Houses of parliament, London Bridge, Herrods,
Big Ben and Westminster Abby.

There were many other places in my pictures that I can't remember the names of (shame on me).
