Parents: Archer A. Dickerson, Jr. and Elizabeth Mattie Bell Bryant. King was born 7 Sept 1903 near Newbern, Dyer, TN. He died 6 Oct 1984 and is buried in the Eastview Cemetery in Union City, TN. King was a Methodist minister serving in the Memphis Conference of the Methodist church. He was a stern, but fair man with a dry sense of humor.
