W. W. Dickerson was born in 1857 in Dyer County, TN.In the 1860 U. S. Federal Census for Dyer Co, TN, W. W. was three years old, and the first born son. According to naming patterns of the 18th and 19th centuries, the first born son is named after the father's father. In this case, that would be William Dickerson. It may be safe to guess that one of the Ws stood for William. W. W. must have died before 1870, as he never shows up in another census. I am still looking for his burial place in Dyer County.
