    It is time to celebrate !




    The Family Readiness Group of the
    190th Combat Engineer Company
    is hosting a WELCOME HOME
    celebration for our soldiers & their families.

    The FRG would like for you to attend!

    Manley Baptist Church
    Morristown

    Refreshments will be served, and there will be a video
    presentation prior to the soldiers receiving a few
    items that the FRG has gotten for them.
    Dress will be casual.

    1. March 30, 2005 - Wednesday. Receiving of friends for Paul Thomason, 5-9 pm, First Baptist Church, Sevierville.

    2. March 31, 2005 - Thursday. Funeral for Paul Thomason, 2:00 pm, same place, burial to follow at Knob Creek Cemetery in Seymour.

    3. March 31, 2005 - Thursday. Support group gathering, Manley Baptist Church, Dinner @ 6:00 pm, support session @ 7:00 pm. Please call or email me if you plan on attending the dinner by Wed. evening. This way they know how many to plan for, thanks! There is no charge for the dinner.

    4. April 2, 2005 - Saturday. Motorcycle Ride for the Thomason family, hosted by Wendy & Charles Thomas. These are the same folks that held the ride to raise phone cards for the 278th. That ride was awesome, this one I am sure will be even larger. Wendy has asked for help with registration etc. Anyone that can help, come on down Sat morning, I plan on being there by 10:30. Once the riders leave, I will be breaking down the tables etc & taking them to Ryans. Mrs. Thomason plans on being at the end of the ride.

    5. April 3, 2005 - Sunday. FRoGs meeting, 2:00 pm, at the armory.

    6. November 20, 2004 - Plans are in the works for all FRG's to set up at their local WalMart Stores to receive donations for our soldiers. More plans will be forthcoming as they are made available. We will need help with this, so please check your calendars and let you FRG Leaders know what hrs you can help with the booth. In conjunction with this event - we would like to include a "Yellow Ribbon Campaign". We want to see yellow ribbons all over East Tennessee in Support of Our Troops. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please pass them to us.

    7. June 22, 2004 - We would like to invite everyone to the Rose center in Morristown at 7:00 pm to hear Graham Leonard speak about the Middle East. He has been visiting National Guard Units across the state, talking with soldiers about what to expect over there.If you are interested in knowing what things in-country will be like for your soldier or loved one, please make plans the attend.
