 Hawk En HiLL are a full-time duo hard to categorize under any genre as each and every song has its own unique style and differs from the other.Its a Marky Mark meets Christina Aguilera. No two songs sound alike but all targeted to put the industry back on that dance floor. A Gold mine for any label in times like this where REAL music is needed. They both write and record their own music as a full time job. Currently holding two albums together with songs varying from Techno,Hip-Hop,Rap,PoP, Club/Dance,Rock/Pop and some slow tempo love songs such as DAY ONE, BREAK THE SILENCE,and CANT LET GO. Hill was a former singer for a previous group called energi with another female singer before becoming solo and doing some work with her Aunt and Uncle. After Hill had some downtime in her career she bumped into Hawk one day over the internet in search of a song and immediately the two artists put their minds together and decided to try something different in the industry. And that is the sound and image of the rapper, and female vocalist as a full time duo. Hawk was formerly a member of a boy group in High School called Two HypeType. A group consisting of 6 guys. Rapper, a DJ, and 4 dancers. After parting with the group Hawk basically was out of commision and continued everyday life until meeting Andrea HiLL. With both of their Talents combined, and dedication of each to make a name for themselves, Hawk En HiLL have been busy since day one in the studio, writing,promoting,booking shows,traveling different states, and building a solid fan base. In only a short while, they have accumulated 2 Albums together, a team of 10 Hawk dancers, and a great fan base. Everyday normal life has pretty much been dropped as they are pushing harder everyday to get to the big stage. Hawk is what we call, The Underground celebrity. A name that is just quickly exploding and creating its walk of fame wherever he goes. Hawk helps other Artists with studio time,websites,stage time,marketing and so forth. The president of Hawk Entertainment, and owner of On Da Mic Magazine, Hawk is just building an Empire Underground in hopes to make a difference in the industry for struggling artists. If we really had to pick a single genre of music that they would relate to, We'd have to say Marky Mark and Loleatta Holloway from the song GOOD VIBRATIONS, and C&C Music Factory. Both are Club/Dance orientated and have the male emcee and female vocalist. Its a new trend, A new Sound, and definitely going to be the next HIT!!.... |
