I missed the September Shakedown due to not being in the country at the time, I could not miss this one, especially not having had a day off in two weeks!
This was to be a day for taking sand novices out into the desert and we were coming from several parts of UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain).
The Dubai contingent had arranged to meet at the usual EPPCO petrol station on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.
At least my Defender appeared to attract some interesting attention
