Including Series Vehicles
During my trip to Salalah, I came across several older Land Rover Defenders (and plenty of Series vehicles) despite the plethora of Toyota Land Cruisers of all ages. I was puzzled by the lack of new Defenders and only when I visited the Land Rover Dealer in Oman was I given insight to the reasons.
Not a reliability problem (as I was lead to believe by some of my non-Land Rover colleagues), the Defender is considered as a Military Vehicle and therefore not for public use!
So, will it be alright for me to bring my Defender to Oman?
Not a problem as it is UAE registered
