Since Dave had some good suggestions far from the beaten track so to speak, we travelled down towards Al Ain to check them out. Accompanying us was another vehicle (Pajero) driven by Trish.
The sands had changed a bit since Dave last visited this area, and Trish was the first victim, however with some help from Ian she was soon on her way. Fortunately three of us were in radio contact.
Back on the plain, we lost Trish and Ian returned to find her, however he disappeared having gone off track and was soon in trouble.
At first he thought he was just stuck in soft sand having come over a large drop rather unexpectedly. A check underneath revealed the true problem, check out the angles of the tyres
