DAY 2 (continued)

More problems occurred as we traversed these ridges, sometimes we had to continue south in order to find suitable points for the ascent, passing several Bedouin camps as we used their tracks.

With the Super Snark on point, Ian misjudged a route and found himself in trouble which required a quick tug from Dave to free him.

This was followed with a tyre coming off the rim of Wong's Patrol, however we were progressively getting closer to the confluence point when Ian crossed another ridge at the wrong point and became crossaxeled in a bowl

At around 6 Km from it I got disastrously stuck in really really soft stuff that delayed us and took a four and a half tow strap pull in order to retrieve the Disco. I had not brought the TRAC MATS, a really gross error on my part

Around 500 Meters from the Confluence Point, the Super Snark popped not just one tyre, but two. Fortunately we were able to inflate one without changing it.
