Omani Fishermen

I wandered down to find out what type of fish that had been caught. Their method of fishing using a net taken out by a boat and then hauled in by hand is very traditional, however the net size was very small and plenty of fish taken that were of very little commercial value.

The majority of fish were Gill Raker Mackerel, however there were some smaller sardine type fish as well as Trigger Fish and a couple of Puffer fish.

John Tan, Lim and Raymond procured some of the small sardines for a later meal.
