We arrived at the planned campsite around 1700 hours, 10 hours of traveling including our lunch stop and firewood gathering exercise, time for a G&T or six.
With only three of us we soon moved into action, had a fire going, kettle on, and a nice pasta with bolognaise sauce for supper, only thing missing was the red wine but the gin proved to be adequate followed by vodka and mango juice cocktails so it was no wonder that despite sleeping out in the open Dave did not notice the rainstorm during the night.
