Day two, and there had been a severe rain storm the night before but only Jason had noticed. Dave was a tad wet having slept out on his camp bed, I was in my tent cot and remained oblivious to what had happened.
And so on to the Petrified Forest where we found a few interesting fossils, and spent some time marvelling at these very ancient trees now turned into stone.
We then carried on eastwards towards Wahiba. Here we made excellent progress compared to my previous trip a few months ago after finding the construction of a new road and a gatch track that took us directly to another fuel stop along with a reminder to be careful
