Detailed Profile: Hoshi is the Communication Officer aboard the Enterprise NX-01, she also serves as the ship's Universal Translator because the Universal Translator can not understand other alien languages. She has the ability to emit alien sounds just by manipulating her vocal cords. She can also pick up alien languages much more quicker and easier than anyone else.Hoshi doesn't like traveling on the Enterprise when it is traveling at warp, she gets nervous when the ship vibrates at warp speeds and she was concerned when Captain Archer stood so close to the Warp Core .
