McBee Rescue has purchased a Power-PRO XT...and the Stryker 6252 Stair Chair.
This model along with a Stryker stair chair greatly reduces the amount of lifting that is required on a Squad Call. It is battery operated and will lift patients up to 700 pounds. The stretcher is powered by 24 Volt Dewalt batteries and also can be operated manually if the battery fails.
Stryker’s industry-leading powered ambulance cot
answers the need for emergency transport that dramatically reduces
strenuous lifting and the associated risk of back injury. Power-PRO
features Stryker’s innovative powered hydraulic lift to raise and
lower patients with the touch of a button. The Power-PRO’s
groundbreaking design features set the standard for superior
performance and outstanding ergonomics.
McBee Rescue Squad continues to emphasize maintaining the most up to date technology and equipment to care for our patients. This has been our practice in the past and we hope to be able to continue this in the future. Thank you for your support of McBee Volunteer Rescue Squad ! ! !
