Other Pearson Families The Pearson families in Kingswinford appear to be distinct from those in the neighbouring parishes of Dudley and Old Swinford, although migration between these parishes did occur, more so in later years. There are also Pearson families in nearby Wolverhampton. One claim to fame of these is that one of them married Sir Rowland Hill, born in nearby Kidderminster, he was the founder of the 'Penny Post' in 1840. One of his sons was named Pearson Hill. |
