Education

University:

Currently I attend James Madison University in the Beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

I am a junior Hospitality and Tourism Major with a concentration on Special Events and Meeting Planning.

At JMU I am also sit on the executive board for Society of Hosteurs.  Currently, we are in the process of becoming a student chapter of Professional Convention Managers Association.  This should be up and running in time for the spring of 2005 semester.

High School:

From September 1996 to June of 2002 I attended Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Virginia.  Because it is a secondary school, it incorporates middle school (7th-8th grade) in the same building as high school (9th-12th grade).

I was in the Color Guard for the school's marching band for three years.  During those three years we won many awards at various competitions.  In addition, my senior year of high school, we won the State Championships in Football.

Also in high school I attended Chantilly Academy at Chantilly High School.  There I attended Culinary Arts classes for two years.  Upon graduation, I learned the equivalent in culinary arts to several classes at Johnson and Wales Culinary School.  I also loved working with the people in the class.

Elementary School:

I attended El Rincon (the Rino) in Culver City, California through 4th grade.  I grew up with most of the people I went to school with.  I also learned how to speak Spanish from a very young age since it was a Spanish immersion school.
At the time I attended, we were the El Rincon Rinos and there was no second story to the school.  A lot has changed since I lived there.

For 5th and 6ht grade I attended Bonnie Brae Elementary in Burke, Virginia.
