U.S.S. Reliant NCC 1864-D Dedicated Shuttlecraft

Welcome to our Dedicated Shuttlecraft Area. These shuttles are named after people we
feel most deserving of this honor. So far the U.S.S. Reliant carries 5 such crafts.

Named after our ship's first commanding officer, Rear Admiral Roger Smith, who passed away in 1996. This Type 6 Shuttle bearing the designation of shuttlecraft number 1. Location: Shuttlebay 04, Section Alpha 1.

Named after former Chief of Fleet Operations, Fleet Admiral Paul A. Sundstrom, who passed away on Nov. 7, 2003. This is a Type 5 Shuttle bearing the designation of shuttlecraft number 2. Location: Shuttlebay 04, Section Alpha 2.

Named after a former Chief of Staff & Commander In Chief, Fleet Admiral Donald H. Dailey, who passed away on May 22, 2007. This is a Argo Class with the designation of shuttlecraft number 6. Location: Shuttlebay 04, Section Alpha 3.

Named after a long-time friend of the Reliant, Robert Erikson, who passed away on February 26, 2007. This is a Type 9A Shuttle bearing the designation of shuttlecraft number 7. Location: Shuttlebay 03, Section Alpha 1.

Named after Executive Officer Emeritus, Fleet Captain William "Bill" Moore, a Founding Member the Reliant, who passed away on April 15, 2014. This is a Type 7 Shuttle bearing the designation of shuttlecraft number 8. Location: Shuttlebay 03, Section Alpha 2.

Named after a long-time friend and fellow SFC Member, Commodore David Hicks, who passed away on September 12, 2009. This is a Danube Variant-HVY-B1 and is the only of her type on board. This craft bears the designation number of 11. Location: Shuttlebay 04, Section Beta 1.
