After 20 km driving we've seen dunes for the first time. Here begins Wahiba Sands. Just after crossing of first dune Jacques found that his car doesn't perform well on sand. It stuck immediately after approaching a patch of soft sand. Unfortunately, because of problems with his car,  Jacques has to leave our companion and go back to Muscat.  We're lucky that it happened just after beginning of our trip. If we got stuck somewhere in the middle of the desert it would be impossible to sent one car back to the blacktop road all of us would have to go back.

We said goodbye to Jacques in the near village and started to deflate tires which gives our cars better performance on sand.
