THE LOST TEXT
Why Was It Never Found?

(2) Mark 16:1, 2: "And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun."
Mark doesn't say anything about it now being the Christian Sabbath. He calls the 1st day of the week by it's common work name. He calls the Sabbath (God's Holy Rest Day) still the Sabbath. He wrote this passage in AD 60 or 29 years after the new covenant. It's still the Sabbath and the 1st day of the week. Where's the change?
Would you like to know what God thinks about tradition? Let's turn to God's word.
Matthew 15:3-9 "But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the Commandment of God by your tradition?... But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." If Sunday worship is a tradition, then your worship is in vain. I didn't say it, Jesus said it.
