With the networks increasingly moving series at the drop of a hat (The Simple Life 3, I'm looking at you), looking at a series overall ratings is no longer a good measure of the timeslot it aired in. Timeslots get so little respect, it's all about the series that air in those timeslots that people pay attention too. Well I don't think that's fair, so in a completely pointless exercize, I've gone back over the entire season and noted the ratings for every single timeslot, not paying attention to what series was in that timeslot. Yes, it was long, and I'm not really sure why I did it.
Anywho, it's done. On the right, I've divided the information off into 3 searchable categories. The first is "All Timeslots By Network," which breaks down every individual network's timeslots. 10:00pm is counted as one (since no networks air half hour series here), and Saturdays are counted in blocks of three, except for Fox, which has distinct timeslots at 8 and 8:30pm, as well as 9. The second category is "All Timeslots by Timeslot," which adds together all of the networks performances in every timeslot. Keep in mind that the 10pm timeslots will be lower- the UPN, Fox and the WB do not air programming there. As well, the WB and the UPN do no program on Saturdays, and the UPN alone skips out on Sundays.
The last category is "Just the Big 3." Why? Click and find out. As a final note, timeslot performances include everything that aired in that timeslot, including things like Awards shows and sports programming. It does not, however, include the Presidential Debates of last October, which were not counted as ad-supported programming and were not reflect in the network's averages.
