TITLE CARD: DECEMBER 24th, 1999

1. FADE IN ON DENSE FOG :

EXT. HONG KONG HARBOR - LOADING DOCKS - OPEN TITLES

Two young men each lift a side of a large shipping
crate marked with chinese characters which read
"Handle with care !".

They carry the crate up the ramp leading to the ship
. Half way up the ramp, the two drop the crate.

From down below on the dock, JIN LI a Shaved headed
chinese man in his mid thirties dressed in red and
black inerjects.

EXT. CEMETERY - NIGHT
From a worm's view looking up into they night sky,
freezing rain falls down to the ground below.
We see the silhouette of a perched crow large in the
f.g. It sits quietly on top of a statue of an angel.
Suddenly the crow takes off, flying into the night sky.

ANGLE ON - THE CROW - OPEN TITLES (CON'T)

We follow the crow as it flies up toward the sky.
It passes the famous BROOKLYN BRIDGE then soon after
we see the STATUE OF LIBERTY and continues on its
journey through the city.

ANGLE ON - THE CROW - OPEN TITLES (CON'T)

As it passes through the city it is very clear that
we are in NEW YORK city. We continue to follow the
birds flight through New York, we now see many
skyscrapers and small buildings until we come to ...

EXT. NIGHTCLUB - LATE NIGHT
The crow lands on top of a bright MULBERRY colord neon
sign, with words that spell "CLUB RAVEN". The words are
surrounded by a silhouetted black light, shaped in the
form of a raven .

Down below ...

On a cold winter night like this you wouldn't expect to
see the hundreds of people that are flocking the streets
surrounding this night club.

Especially on CHRISTMAS EVE of all nights.
None the less, the long line of people awaiting to
have a chance to get into this exclusive club is
overwhelming. The line melds within the velvet ropes
curving around the building, pouring into the alley
in the back of the club.

The club goers are dressed in range from dark GOTHIC
clothing, others in average street clothes, most are
dressed in formal wear.

EXT. CLUB RAVEN / INT. CLUB RAVEN (CONTINOUS)

We move casually from the back of the line to the front
through the eyes of a on-looker just outside the velvet
ropes.
Through this person's eyes and ears we gather a brief glimpse of
the conversations of theese club goers.

We First see a sleezy man dressed in a metalic silk shirt, trying to impress an attractive bloned headed woman next to him.
