Arnold Cragmeyer is a former bomb squad commander who put in for reassignment and became the new head of forensics, which put him a little too close for the detectives' liking. But he always comes through when helping them, providing them with useful information and clues. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Science, and "minored in the mating rituals of the polar bear." Bobby Cole
Bobby Cole, the "Teflon Crime Lord," is a notorious criminal with everyone from politicians to police officers on his payroll. He usually leaves his work to his lackies, operating behind dummy corporations, insuring he can never be directly connected to any of his crimes. Everbody in the city knows he's a vicious criminal, but no one can prove it. After numerous confrontations, his organization is finally broken down, and Cole himself is shot and killed by Chase in a standoff. Portrayed By: Gary Hudson |

Det. Nicole Stockman
Nicole Stockman is a tough San Francisco detective. She comes to Los Angeles to deliver a fled witness to the LAPD, who was scheduled to testify against crime boss Alfredo Matessa. Initially at odds with Chase over his reckless methods, the two ultimately become friends over the phone and through weekend visits. She later returns to L.A. to strike a deal with Matessa in return for him testifying against Bobby Cole. Agent Shoenrock
Shoenrock is a shady F.B.I. agent, a thorn in Chase and August's side when it comes to cases involving Bobby Cole. Shoenrock would show up to take their cases away, claiming it's a Federal matter and getting the detectives reassigned to smaller cases. It's apparent he's on the take and working for Cole, using his bureau connections to keep the detectives from getting to his boss.
