Leslie got up and went in and checked on Lu-Lu, who was sound asleep.
She smiled at her sleeping granddaughter. She was a beautiful little girl.
She felt soo bad for the little girl. She needed both of her parents at
a time like this but would Luke come around with Stefan hanging around.
Sure Laura said that they almost made love the night of Lucky's funeral
but was that just a one time thing. She closed the door and looked down
the hall at Laura's bedroom door. She was curious to know what happened
at the dinner last night. Would Stefan ever leave her alone? She hoped
that Laura made it clear that she needed space and time to think things
through. Just then the doorbell rang, Leslie went down and answered it.
Leslie: "Amy! What are you doing here?"
Amy: "Well, Good Morning to you too."
Leslie: "I'm sorry honey. I just thought that you were suppose to be at the hospital today."
Amy walks in. "Aren't I allowed to visit my mother and sister? Not to mention my beautiful niece?"
Leslie laughs. "Of course you can. Sorry honey. Have you had breakfast yet?"
Amy shakes her head no. Leslie and Amy go into the kitchen to get something to eat. They just started to cook breakfast when the doorbell rings. Leslie goes to answer it. She is quite upset when she sees who it is. "Stefan," she says coldly.
Stefan: "Dr. Webber."
Leslie: "Well it isn't Doctor anymore."
Stefan: "Anyway, is Laura up?"
Leslie: "No, I don't believe that she is. I will tell her that you stopped by and get her to call you when she wakes up."
Stefan walks in. "No, that's alright. If you could go up and see if she is awake for me or I can go up myself."
Leslie slams the door. "No, Mr. Cassadine, you stay right here and I will go up and see if she is awake."
Leslie heads upstairs as Amy comes out of the kitchen.
Amy: "Stefan...."
Leslie knocks lightly on the door and then opens it. She walks in and smiles when she sees Luke and Laura sleeping in each others arms. She quietly backs out and closes the door. As she heads back downstairs she looks up and mouths the words thank you. When she gets back downstairs she says, "Sorry Stefan, she is still in bed."
Lu-Lu wakes up from having a nightmare and she wants to see her Mommy, so she gets up and goes down the hall to her mother's bedroom. When she sees her Daddy in the bed as well she gets very excited and jumps on the bed and starts screaming, "Daddy!" Luke and Laura both jump up. They both started laughing when they see the bouncing girl on the bed. When she sees that her parents are awake she flings herself into Luke's arms. "Daddy. I missed you. Are you living with me and mommy and grandma again?"
Luke looked at Laura and smiled.
Laura: "Honey that is what Daddy are trying to figure out. Why don't you go and see if grandma is up."
Lu-Lu: "OK Mommy." She turns back to Luke. "Will you have breakfast with me, Daddy?"
Luke smiles and kisses her forehead. "Of course I will, cupcake."
Lu-Lu ecstatically jumps off the bed and runs out of the room screaming, "Yeah!" Luke and Laura laugh as they watch their daughter leave.
Laura: "Thank God she didn't try to get under the blankets."
Luke smiles and leans over. "Yeah, thank God." They start to kiss passionately.
After a couple of minutes Laura pulls away. "Do you have any idea how much I dreamed of waking up and having you beside me?"
Luke laughs. "Baby, I know. I know."
Laura smiles and leans over and gently kisses his mouth. "I love you so much, Luke."
Luke: "I love you too, angel."
They start to kiss again and when Luke pulls his lips from hers and starts kissing her neck. Laura says breathlessly, "Make love to me."
Luke stops kissing her neck and looks up at her with passion raging in his eyes. "Anytime, Baby. Anytime." They start to kiss passionately.
Stefan is about to walk out the door when Lu-Lu comes running down the stairs. "Grandma. Grandma, Mommy and Da...."
Leslie runs over and picks her up before she can finish that sentence. She has a pretty good idea of what she was going to say. She must of went into Laura's bedroom and saw Luke there. Stefan whips around from the door and says, "Your Mommy is awake?"
Lu-Lu shakes her head yes "And Da..."
Before Stefan has a chance to hear anything else, and before Leslie can stop him, he is on his way up the stairs.
