This Page is for challenges that I have written. Please take a look, one of the challenges (if taking a challenge email me and send me a copy of fanfiction to put on the site as a response), or read one of the answers (below challenge or click here). Challenge #21 This idea I got while reading 'Kiss of Shadows' By Laurel K. Hamilton Summary: The earth is a magickal place, the faeries rule the supernatural and maintain a peaceful existence with humans. However not all the supernatural creatures are happy with the way things are run, a splinter group headed by Master Nest and his favorite childe, Darla are seeking to enslave both the magickals and non-magickals and send the earth straight to Hell. The Faerie Queen - Joyce, Queen of the seasons - realizes that in order to save the world she loves, she must somehow find a balance between good and evil. An idea comes to light when her faithful bodyguard Giles finds a prophecy hidden deep within the ancient archives. Enter Angelus, Master Nest's least favorite - but most powerful grand-childe. Queen Joyce makes a bargain with Angelus - if he marries one of her daughters and produces an heir within three years he will be given the right to co-rule the supernatural in this earthly dimension. Angelus agrees to the deal even though faerie marriages are faithful and eternal - only because he knows that if the Master rules he will never gain power and he wants power. Musts: Angelus meeting the Queen's daughter's - Faith, Cordelia, Anyanka and Buffy. Angelus choosing Buffy because that it is clear that she is the only one whom does not want to marry him. Buffy telling him that he picked a reject because she is the only one of the Queen's daughter's whom has yet to come into her powers and Angelus laughing and then informing her of exactly how faeries come into their powers - through the lose of their virginity. Master Nest and Darla - especially Darla - finding out about Angelus' agreement and trying to stop it from happening. The rest is up to you. Challenge #22 Summary: Buffy and her mother Joyce are in the con game (think the movie Heartbreakers) - Joyce marries the guy and Buffy sets up the divorce scenario. Buffy anxious to go straight agrees to pull one last job with her mom. Joyce spots an article in the paper on Sunnydale billionaire, Patrick McClay. Musts: Angel and Tara as Patrick's two children. Buffy getting a secretarial job at Patrick's company thinking she's working for the man himself, but ends up working for Angel. Buffy and Angel inexplicably drawn to each other. Buffy running from Angel after they spend the night together. Buffy trying - to no avail - to talk her mom out of the con. Optional: A pregnancy. Someone being serenaded. A secret addiction to professional wrestling. A pair of diamond earrings. Chinese take-away. Silk sheets. Challenge #23 Summary/Back Story: Ten years into the future vampires have been inducted into mainstream society. They are no longer considered a threat to humanity since they have all been cursed with souls. Needing specialist help to control any vampire crimes a new section of the FBI has been set up. In charge of the section is the former slayer, Buffy Summers and the staff are former watcher's from the Watcher's Council. When a vampire goes on a killing spree and Buffy's section are unable to solve it, the FBI calls in a consultant. The original soulful vampire, Angel. Musts: Buffy pissed off that she has to work with Angel, who she hasn't seen in over eight years since they had a confrontation over Spike and Cordelia. Connor insinuating that if Angel doesn't want Buffy, he'd have a go at it. Dawn and Spike living together - with Buffy's approval. Challenge #24 Summary: What if Dracula came to Sunnydale after Buffy, not only because she is the strongest slayer in history; but also because she is the great, great, great (and so on) granddaughter of his arch enemy, Van Helsing. However he was not the only vampire to arrive there at that time after the slayer. The only difference is this one is in Sunnydale to protect her. Musts: Buffy and Angel have never met before. Angel was once the apprentice to Van Helsing and also engaged to his daughter, Elizabeth. On the night Van Helsing was finally bested by Dracula, Angel was caught and turned by one of Dracula's childer, Darla. Angel still has his soul because the PTB needed him to be on their side, so they bound it to his immortal body. Angel shocked by how much Buffy looks like his long lost Elizabeth. Buffy being saved by Angel and telling him to get lost she can take care of herself. Buffy and Angel fall for each other. Buffy and Angel happy ending. Buffy and Riley are dating, but haven't slept together. Angel - while spying on Buffy - overhearing a conversation between Buffy and Willow about him. Dracula pissed off that Buffy is not affected by his thrall. The song "Your Disease" by Saliva. Challenge #25 Summary: (Based somewhat on 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days') Angel McKee had always had it easy when it came to women, using them and then sending them packing. Buffy Summers had always considered herself lucky that she had never had to deal with him that way, he simply saw her as nothing but the girl next door - literally since they had actually grown up next door to each other. At least that was until she overheard Angel and their mutual friend Xander Harris, bragging that every woman falls madly in love with him after one night together and making a bet. All Angel had to do was make Buffy fall in love with him in 10 days and Xander will get him an in with his ex-girlfriend, Cordelia Chase. Angry and hurt over this betrayal, Buffy decides it's definitely time to teach the arrogant jerk a lesson and make the next 10 days the worst of his life. Musts: Buffy letting Angel dictate what they do on the first two dates (days). Angel telling Xander thank you because Buffy is just making it so easy. Buffy getting Angel all worked up and into the bedroom before simply getting up and leaving him like that with some flimsy excuse. Angel arriving home to find that Buffy has redecorated his apartment (the Superintendent let her in) in pale pink with soft animals and such. Gone are all his precious sports memorabilia. Angel going insane with all the crap that Buffy is pulling. Couple's Therapy with Willow (who is Buffy's friend from work, so Angel doesn't know her) pretending to be the therapist. A weekend away. Angel wining his stupid bet but on the date with Cordy realizes who he truly wants to be with. Buffy and Angel happy ending. Options (at least 3 of): Buffy giving Angel's penis an unmanning name. Willow asking Angel how long he's been attracted to other men. Angel setting up this grand seduction scene - including cooking Buffy dinner - and Buffy crying because something he did reminded her of some old boyfriend, making Angel extremely uncomfortable. Buffy discussing her old boyfriends and what she did with them. Buffy interrupting Angel's 'Boy's Night Out' with Xander and Spike at some bar. Karaoke. The song, 'If you're not the one' by Daniel Bedingfield. Challenge #26 Summary: (BTVS/Harry Potter X-Over) Buffy is not your average ordinary girl, she is a witch just like her grandmother and father before her and is in attendance at Hogwarts. During her fifth year at her beloved school, Buffy's parents divorce and her muggle mother returns to her hometown of Sunnydale, California. Unfortunately for Buffy it happens at almost the exact same time as she is called as the slayer. Surviving all the trials and tribulations of Hogwarts over the next two years, she is sent - by her father - to visit her mother and younger sister in America the summer vacation between sixth and seventh year. Once there she meets the Scooby gang and the other slayer Faith and instantly befriends Willow since they both are into the whole magic thing. She also meets Angel, the soulful vampire that has been saving the groups necks for the past few years and whom Faith is in love with. Without meaning to Buffy and Angel fall in love and on the eve of her return to school they make love, causing Angel's moment of happiness. Buffy leaves Sunnydale and returns to England and school, putting Sunnydale well behind her. Eventually - a few years down the track - Buffy, working as a summer intern for the Ministry of Magic is assigned her very own case. She is to make recommendations to the Ministry over a rogue witch operating in Sunnydale. Realizing that it is her old friend who is under investigation, Buffy heads off to America to do some further investigating and finds that everything has changed and not in a good way. Musts: Although Buffy is a slayer, the Watcher's Council preformed an ancient ritual that allowed a new slayer to be called in her place (hence Faith); so she has absolutely no official slaying duties. Buffy best friends at Hogwarts are naturally Harry, Hermione and Ron. Angelus is responsible for Tara's death which is in turn responsible for sending Willow over the edge. Angelus leaving a bloody human heart, a romantic/poetic note and a dozen roses on the front doorstep for Buffy. Draco Malfoy saying, "Who would've thought it. That high and mighty bitch rutting with a common vampire." Challenge #27 Summary: (BTVS/Angel/Charmed X-Over) Angel and the gang find - while ransacking an office at Wolfram and Hart - a new prophecy pertaining to Angel and Connor, the only problem is also refers to Angel's other child - a daughter. Confused over this piece of information Angel begins a quest for information, but it seems that absolutely no one can find anything on this other supposed child. A nasty remark about Buffy by Xander starts Angel thinking 'What if Buffy had, had his child' - an unexpected result of their union on her seventeenth birthday. The only problem was there was no way to confirm or deny the thought since no one had seen or heard from Buffy for almost twenty years. Musts: Buffy hiding out in San Francisco, calling herself Anne Evans (Evans is Joyce's maiden name) . She is the night manager of P3. Buffy and Angel's daughter, Amelia Katherine (Mia for short) is at a San Francisco college studying criminology and is also engaged to/living with Wyatt Halliwell (Piper and Leo's son - just screwing with the timeline's a little to make them the same age). Mia has all her mother's and father's abilities. Buffy and the Halliwell's are friends and help each other with the slayer and vanquishing of demons and other nasties. Buffy and Angel have a massive confrontation over everything. Options: Phoebe and Paige rating Angel's butt. Mia freaking out because her father is/was a vampire - although Buffy had told her about her father she had omitted that detail. Major friction between the San Francisco, LA and Sunnydale groups. The Scoobies and AI gang having to stay at Buffy's house and she makes it clear that they are not welcome. Connor jealous that he now has a very real sibling. Angel threatening Wyatt after catching Mia and he together and Wyatt pointing out that Angel doesn't exactly have the right to do so since he hasn't been around. Dating was all his rules allowed for their relationship and Angel had clearly defined each rule way back when they began dating a year earlier. In any case his rules would certainly be out of the door with this shocker - Mr. No-Commitment was about to become a daddy. Musts: Angel thinking Buffy is joking when she tells him. Angel accusing Buffy of trying to trap him and Buffy telling him to go to hell and that she can raise the baby without any help from his sorry ass. Buffy - while out with Willow - spotting Angel out on a date with her high school nemesis, Cordelia Chase. Angel avoiding Buffy when at the station because when he sees her he feels guilty. Until Buffy figures it all out her life is in jeopardy and if she is not careful she may just end up the same way as Elizabeth. Musts: Buffy and Willow meeting Elizabeth's fiancé's son, Angel McClure. Buffy and Angel are attracted to each other, but Buffy is unsure if she can trust him. Angel using his job as a PI to help Buffy to research what went on - he wants to clear his father's name and lay to rest all the rumors. The line, "Contrary to my name, I'm no angel."
