The BV Board's Guide to Proper Barkley Manners (i.e. netiquette)

The board exists for the fans of The Big Valley to use. We welcome discussion, fiction, what-ifs, historical connections, recipes, and about anything else that is loosely related to the series.

It seems foolish to post these guidelines here, and I hope for the day when it's no longer necessary to do so. With that in mind, here is the Barkley code regarding Discussion Board behavior.

• Everyone has the right to what they believe, whether or not it is what you believe.
• Please use the manners that your mother taught you.
• Criticism, used wisely, is both healthy and helpful. There are several budding writers on this board who welcome criticism, but also have tender egos. i.e. Think before you write!
• We reserve the right to take a tangent in whatever direction it lets us. Do not be offended if a thread is off topic. If you don't like it please move to the next one.
• There is a line between appreciation of a performer's work and idle speculation and gossip about their personal lives. This board has been visited by those who have been involved in the series. Please remember this when you post.
