After Sami's plan to keep Austin backfired when Kate revealed to one and all that Sami had drugged Austin to get her to sleep with her, Sami attempted to use Will as a way to get Austin back.

Austin rang Sami and asked her to meet her at the park with Will.  Sami was ecstatic.  She thought if she could spend time alone with Austin she knew he would learn to love her and not Carrie.

Meeting with Austin Sami started her machinations but things didn't happen according to plan.

Sami was shocked with Carrie turned up at the park where Austin had arranged a special surprise for Carrie.  He had asked Sami to the park so he could spend time with Will NOT Sami.

Austin explained to Sami, yet again, there was no future for them and the only thing keeping him from doing her bodily harm was Will.  Austin returned Will to Sami and went off to have a private picnic with Carrie.

Alone Austin got down on one knee and proposed to Carrie.

Carrie accepted but as we all know Sami did not accept this as the end, she went on to make life a living hell for this couple.
