Questions To Answer For My RecordsBelow is a set of questions that I would like you to answer so I can offer you information that will have you prepared to help with the site. If you would please copy and paste to E-mail the questions and place your answers under the question they answer. 1) What duties would you be interested in volunteering for? (Example: One Tree Hill ® Recaps) 2) What is your favorite show? 3) What is your first name or what name would you like me to refer to you as? (This can be different from whatever name you choose to post on the site.)
Requirements and Things You Might Want To Know (Tips)Don’t be scared. This is just an outline of some of the things I need you to keep in mind when you are creating your material. 1) Keep profanity to a minimum. 2) E-mail DestinationSoaps@aol.com with your updates and the information will be posted in a timely manner. 3) If you would like to post something on a section you do not have access to you need to e-mail your request to me and I will handle the situation. 4) You may add personal touches such as specific pictures for your section or what not, but they must be sent to me and approved so you or I can load them on the site. 5) Keep a record of every place you post the Destination Soaps link. 6) You do not have to update your section everyday. Once a week or when ever life lets you will be fine. 7) If you want to take a break for longer than a week I need to be notified so I can post it on the site. 8) This is for fun and should remain an enjoyable task. I have school and I’m sure the rest of you have lives. If this process ever becomes overwhelming let me know and I can help with some of your responsibilities. 9) I may from time to time chime in on your section. I’m not trying to be rude; I’d just like to participate as well. 10) When getting the word out about the site. Remember: Ask, do not harass! If a message board specifies that they have a particular section for you to post links in…do so! 11) Do not post a banner with the Destination Soaps logo on it unless I have agreed to it. Though I do encourage it and would love to see what you all come up with.
Checklist of E-mailsThis is just a summary of what I typed above so it won’t seem overwhelming. Also use the names of the e-mails below as subjects for your e-mails. (1) Pre-Update E-mail: Should contain the material you wish to post. (2) Other Images E-mail: Let’s say you make a banner or would like a screencap to go with your commentary. E-mail me the picture (not as an attachment, Copy and Paste to the E-mail. (3) Vacation E-mail: If you go on vacation or simply need a break, drop me a line and let me know. (4) Traffic E-mail: If you’ve been out searching for people to come view the site, send me an e-mail letting me know the places where you posted the link.
