As a very pregnant Lucy knight-Carter walked into the lounge she exhaustedly dropped into one of the nearest chairs availible.
"Hey luce, didnt know youd be on now." Carter startled her as he walked a wet mess (still gorgeous though) to his locker.
"I'm not but I did come on for an ultrasound if you wanna join me?"
"sure what time?"
" 2:00 but I figured id finish off osme of that paper work" she replied as she attempted unsuccesfully to get out of the chair.
As Carter ran over to the chair to help he said, " Oh before ur maternity leave?"
"Uh...I- "
"lucy dont tell me you havent arranged it yet?" he sighed.
" Relax John Ill be fine if it makes you feel better, then ill go arrange it now. Meet me in o.b. at two for the scan."
"fine" he said as he ran out at the site of paramedics before rushing in again to quickly sneak a kiss with his wife.

"Well lucy everything appears to be in working order here" said abby,
"Cool, what do u think John?"
No answer, he just sat there smiling at the scan somewhere in a dreamland or something
"john, john carter, CARTER!" yelled lucy waving a hand anxiously in front of his blind face.
"Huh?! what?"
" I said, what do u think? everything sound ok?"
"Yea. Exept we dont have a name."
"thats true" she sighed. " Well while were going downstairs lets start thinking"
"Go on lucy, just make sure its a good name for a boy!" abby called after them as they walked out peacefully of the room.

"wow lucy how many babies you got in there? 4???" a very shocked and joking Jerry said.
"feels like 8 when he kicks!" she laughed back. She noticed John still smiling looking at her stomach.
"well for both our sake lets hope he calms down when hes born" said carter as he kissed his wife and led her to the car.
"John you dont have to take me home its fine"
"nah its ok Kerry wont mind"
"really though it-" she got cut off as she felt a sharp pain in her back. Something all too familiar......
