"All right, our next game
is one I know our performers love. It's for Ryan, Colin and Greg.
Come on down, guys," Drew Carey announced.
"Aren't you going to tell us what we're playing?" Greg
Proops asked.
"It's kinda important," Ryan Stiles added.
"We're doing If You Know What I Mean!" Drew announced.
Colin Mochrie had to drag himself up from his seat. He glanced
at Ryan and tried not to look panicky. But who wouldn't be? Colin's
wife, Debra, was present at the taping that day, and Colin could
only hope Ryan and Greg wouldn't embarrass him.
"Don't look so terrified, Colin
it'll be over before
you know it," Drew commented.
"How many times have you heard that one, Colin?" Greg
laughed. The audience roared with laughter as, once again, Colin
was being made fun of.
"All right. Your scene is in the truck on the way home from
an electrical repair," Drew said. "Whenever you're ready."
Ryan mimed a steering wheel and Colin and Greg stood beside him.
"I heard what you said to the wife, man
it doesn't take
much energy to plug it on, if you know what I mean," Greg
said.
"I only hope you don't have an electrical burnout, if you
know what I mean," Ryan chimed in.
"No
no, my wife enjoys the electric shock, if you know
what I mean," Colin remarked, glancing into the audience
at Debra.
Greg laughed. "I think you need to readjust your toolbelt,
if you know what I mean."
"We are heading home, you know. I think you'd better buy
a new bag of nails, if you know what I mean," Ryan continued.
"And a new hammer, if you know what I mean," Greg added.
"And you guys better fix your nuts, if you know what I mean!"
Colin exclaimed from embarrassment.
Greg and Ryan started laughing. Colin, still into the scene and
frightened to look Debra in the eye, grabbed the steering wheel
Ryan had mimed as Drew, hysterically laughing, hit the buzzer.
Ryan leaned over to Colin as they sat back down and said, "Harder
to work with your wife in the audience, huh?"
Colin nodded as he took a drink.
"So, Colin," Drew said. "Does your wife really
enjoy the electric shock?"
"You know I do, Drew!" a woman's voice called. Colin
looked up to see Debra laughing.
"This will never make it to air," Colin joked.
