04.02.02 ~> You haven't seen the end of Rachel and company. "Friends" could go another season. The six stars of the hit NBC sitcom are in talks to return for a ninth season, according to Variety. Sources close to the show are quoted as saying there is a "50-50 chance" it will return after this season wraps. But if Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox Arquette and the rest of the cast do return, it is likely they will get a pay raise. Currently they each earn $750,000 per episode, but they could possibly take in more than $1 million a week if they decide to go one more year.

24.01.02 ~> A new friend dropped by the "Friends" set: Lauren Bush, the fashion-model niece of President Bush. The teen-age Bush was a guest of the show last week, a spokesman for the NBC sitcom said Tuesday. She may pop up as an extra in an upcoming episode. Bush, whose father, Neil, is the president's younger brother, has appeared in photo shoots for Vanity Fair and Vogue magazines. "Friends," which is produced by the Burbank-based Warner Bros. studio, has enjoyed a ratings resurgence this year.

15.9.01 ~> The FRIENDS season 8 premiere has been postponed a week in the US due to the recent tragedy. Taping of the episodes has been stopped and may not be resumed for a while as David Schwimmer (Ross) is stuck in Toronto, Canada and can't get home.

Jennifer is trying to promote her film flop, Rock Star – which features lots of sex and drugs: "I have never had anything exciting or fun like that happen to me," she laments.
