Giles: "You never know
with whom or what you may be fighting, and these traditions have been handed down through
the ages. Now you show me good, steady progress with the quarterstaff and in due
time we'll discuss the crossbow."
(Buffy demolishes him with the quarterstaff)
Giles: (Giles, on the floor) "Good, let's move on to the
crossbow."
Angel: "The Romany
elders conjured the perfect punishment for me."
Buffy: "What, they were all out of boils and blinding torment?"
Xander: "Boy, that Cordelia is a regular breath of vile air."
Buffy: "Mom, this is
Mr. Giles."
Joyce: "The librarian from your school? What's he doing
here?"
Giles: "I just came to pay my respects, wish you a speedy
recovery."
Joyce: "Boy, the teachers really do care in this town..."
Cordelia: "Ouch!!! Please get your extreme oafishness off my two hundred dollar shoes."
Darla: "Do you know
what the saddest thing in the world is?"
Buffy: "Bad hair on top of that outfit?"
Buffy: "It's weird,
though. In this way, I feel like he's still watching me."
Willow: "Well, in a way he sort of is...in the way of that he's
right over there."
