Ascott
(Ascot, Ascotto, Mascot, Muscat)
Ascott is the second person, as well as the youngest one sent out to destroy the Magic Knights. After Aclyone's miserable failure, that is. ^_^ He was the one who attacked the Knights in the Ocean Shrine where Selece resided. Soon after, he was convinced that he was just being used by Zagato and decided to stop fighting the knights. The whole reason he had joined Zagato's army was because of his freinds. Oh, I should probably mention that his freinds are all humongous monsters. Everyone was afraid of them, and Zagato was the only one that accepted them (somewhat) and allowed them to live in the castle with him and Ascott. But I think Caldina also accepted them, as she kind of thinks of Ascott as a younger brother, and let him stay with her even after he had been banished from Zagato's castle. Ascott is a little kid in the first series and kind of naive, but in the second series he grows up (literally!) and kind of becomes a love interest for Umi (although, I think she ends up with Clef.)
Grown up Ascott. How'd he grow up so fast? He must eat a lot of those Flinstone Vitamins. "One million strong, and growing!" Hehehehe...
Larfaga
(Lafarga, Rafaga, Rafafa)
This guy is pretty cool. Besides, it's fun saying his name ("Larfaaaahga" hehehe). Okay, down to buisness. Larfaga was the Captain of the Royal Guard and the best swordsman in Cephiro. When Zagato was "kidnapping" Princess Emeraude, Larfaga stood up to him and tried to save the princess. But, no dice. Oh well, can't blame the boy for trying. What ended up hapening is that Zagato placed Larfaga under mind control and made him do his bidding. Eventually, after Alcyone, Ascott, Caldina, and Innova's initial "failures," he was sent to kill the Knights. He almost did too, but he made one big mistake--he picked up Hikaru's sword. Now, we all know what happens when we pick up one of the Knight's swords, now don't we? What, you don't know! Baka! Well, I'll tell you anyways. Since each sword is made of Escudo, it is made specifically for its owner. Basically, if anyone tries to pick up one of the swords, something weird happens. Fuu's sword becomes exceedingly heavy and hard to hold, Umi's becomes liquid, and Hikaru's turns into flames. So, in short, Larfaga got his butt burned pretty darn bad. And that wore off the mind control. Yay! After he regained conciousness, he vowed to aid the knights in thier quest, and he comes back to save Hikaru from almost certain death at the hands of Zagato at the fire-god shrine. Now, I'm not sure, but I think in the second series, Larfaga and Caldina hook up. And I have the picture to prove it! Oooh, kissy kissy!! "Larfaga and Caldina, sittin' in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g..." =^_^=
Innova
(Inova)
Now, this guy just rubs me the *wrong* way. He irks me. Good thing he only appears in the anime (if he were in the manga, I think I would go nuts!) Hmm, I think I better get Ayanami-san in here to describe Innova. I might say something that I would regret. Yo, Ayanami-san! Can you come here and describe Innova for me?
Rei: Alright. Innova only appears in the anime. He acts as Zagato's right hand man and is the only one who knows his true reason for abducting Princess Emeraude. Originally, Innova was a beast--the strongest kind of beast in Cephiro. He was sent by Emeraude to stop Zagato from trying to kill the Magic Knights. Is that right, Zoe-chan?
Zoe-chan: Umm, I think so, Ayanami. But I'm not sure. Oh well, just continue with the review.
Rei: Very well than. After Innova was sent to Zagato, he decided to side with him, and Zagato turned him into a human. This was only possible because Innova was the most powerful beast. Anyway, Innova was the third sent to try and kill the Knights. He can disguise himself very well, and he did so once to try and trick Fuu-chan...
Zoe-chan: That drag queen, Innova! He tricked Fuu-chan and my Ferio-san! That baka, hentai, hen na,...
Rei: Ahem!
Zoe-chan: Oh, gomen gomen gomen!
Rei: As I was saying, he tried to kill the Knights in the Shrine of the Sky-god (in the manga, it was Caldina) but was defeated. He then begged to be returned to his true form to fight the Knights, but Zagato denied him. After Larfaga's defeat...
Zoe-chan: And much whining!
Rei: ...Zagato finally turned him back to his original form, telling him that he could no longer become human again. He got very close to killing the Knights, but Ferio--under the instruction of his sister, Princess Emeraude--told the girls Innova's only weakness. Hikaru quickly sliced through the stone on his forehead, and...
Zoe-chan: ::doing Monty Python impression:: "...and thus, the cartoon peril was no more. And there was much rejoicing... yay..." Bwahahaha! Sweet revenge! You go Ferio! Well, thanks for your help, Ayanami-san. Everybody, please give Rei a nice round of applause.
Rei: You're welcome. Now, I must be going...
Zoe-chan: Sure. Ja ne, Ayanami-san! Whew, I'm exauhsted. Now I have to go work on the Women of Cephiro. Oi...
