Furgason School of Isshinryu Karate
2006 Weapons Camp

2006 Weapons Camp
Huntsville State Park

Third Week in June 2006

Over the years we have enjoyed the FSIK camps and the Karate-ka that have attended. This years camp is no different in that you will know the kata, bunkai and receive a well rounded education in the history associated with this art.

This year Kyu Grades will have the opportunity to pick one of three kata to completely dissect. Dan Grades will learn Chatan Yara No Sai, and Shishi No Kun No Dai with Bunkai.

This years camp, as always, will also be geared toward ethics. We hope to instill a sense integrity and pride into your training so that you might be able to stay away from the pettiness that detracts from this great art.
It is true that you will be known for your actions. You can spend your life worrying about others or you can do what you started out to do. To be a great Isshinryu practitioner.

We don’t profess to be the do all end all of Isshinryu Karate but we do believe that we can give our students a solid foundation to build on. It is our desire to mode a complete martial artist so that when you go out into the community you will be respected for your Sportsmanship, Personal ethics and your knowledge of Isshinryu Philosophy and form.
