People were surprised when Capcom decided to make a game with both
Street Fighter characters and X-Men characters. The main reason I first played
this game was because it had Rogue in it and she is my favorite comic book
character. It also had Cammy in it who is my favorite Capcom character. This game
did so well in the arcades that Capcom used it to start a new series of games known as
the versus series. The final boss of the game is Apocalypse who takes on a huge form
that takes up most of the screen. My favorite characters in this game are Cammy, Rogue,
Sabertooth, Chun Li, Cyclops, and Akuma.
I have never had the chance to play this game because it never came to my local
arcade and I never bothered to play the Playstation version. The boss of this game
is once again Apocalypse.
Finally Capcom realized they didn't have to limit themselves to only Street Fighter
characters. They decided to use characters from the entire Capcom and Marvel universes.
This game also features the addition of a helper character, each helper has a limited
number of uses and does a different attack. My favorite helpers are Saki and Michelle
Heart. The boss of this game is Onslaught who has two forms. His second form is
huge and very difficult to defeat. My favorite characters are War Machine, Gold War
Machine, Venom, Captain Commando, Chun Li, Roll(especially because of her music),
Morrigan, and Ryu(who can change his fighting style to that of Ken or Akuma).
