RUTH DONOWHO SUPULVER, 95, passed away March 22,
2016, surrounded by loving family, with burial at
the Eastland Cemetery in Eastland, TX.
Ruth was born Dec. 21, 1920, in Desdemona, TX to Jack
& Aurora Donowho. She attended public school at Ranger,
TX including Ranger High School in the Class of 1937.
Ruth came from a large family of seven siblings, who
preceded her in death: brothers, Thurman Donowho of
Houston, Bill Donowho of Sheffield, Joe Donowho (RHS-
1932) of Hurst, Dan Donowho (RHS-1933/RJC) of Denison,
Everett Donowho (RHS-1936) of Denton and Calvin Donowho
of Alvin, & sister, Opal Donowho Swaim of Denison. She
married Sidney Elvis Supulver in August of 1940 in
Olden; he preceded her in death in Oct. of 1995.
Survivors: Ruth is survived by her son, Richard Supulver,
& wife, Mary Lee, of Houston; daughters, Barbara Golden
and husband, Jack, of Hurst and Opal Morgan and husband,
Jerry, of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grand-
children. She most recently resided in the loving home
of her granddaughter Pam Morgan.
