BETTY JO INGRAM NOTH, 89, passed away on
Dec. 20, 2013 in Ranger, TX, with burial was at
Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger.
She was born on Oct. 16, 1924 in Ranger to Roland
and Mary Florence Ingram. She graduated from
Ranger High School in May of 1942 and following
her graduation attended Ranger Jr. College. In
later years, she graduated from a Food Service
Supervisors Course at Weatherford College in
Weatherford, TX. Betty Jo was Secretary and
Treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary in
the 1970s also served as the Secretary and
Treasurer of the Big Country Dietary Managers
Association in the 1980’s. She was a member of
the Second Baptist Church where in past years
she taught Sunday school and training Union
and Sunbeams. She was also a member of the
W M.U.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Everett
Noth, her parents; oldest sister, Irene Ingram;
her oldest brother, Elvin Ingram (RHS-1934);
sister, Lyndell Marie Ingram; and stepfather,
Elwood Williams.
Survivors at the time of her death include her
sons: Jack Noth (RHS-1962) and wife Sandra of
Sherman, TX; Mike Noth (RHS-1970) & wife Brenda
of Ranger; daughters: Lyndell Noth Cockburn (RHS-
1965) and husband Jim of Ranger; Eileen Squiers
(RHS-1969) of Eastland, TX; brother: Roland Dwain
Ingram (RHS-1947) & wife Jerry Sue of Hurst, TX;
sister: Mary Frances Wiesen (RHS-1945) of Odessa,
TX; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4
great-great-grandchildren & many nieces; nephews;
other relatives and a host of friends.
