ROLAND DWAIN INGRAM, 92, was born Aug. 2,
1930 in Ranger, TX and went to be with the Lord on
March 14, 2023. He attended Ranger High School in
the Class of 1947. He was a veteran, serving in
the US Air Force. He was grateful for the GI Bill
which afforded him the opportunity to graduate
from Texas Technological College with a bachelor
of science degree in physics. He continued his
education at SMU and received a Masters Degree in
Engineering. Dwain spent the majority of his career
as an engineer at General Dynamics in Fort Worth,
TX and retired 30 years ago. He died on March 14,
2023.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 70 years,
Jerry Sue Adcox Ingram; son, Darryl Ingram; parents,
Roland & Mary Ingram; brother, Elvin Ingram (RHS-
1934); and sisters Mary Ingram Wiesen (RHS-1945),
Betty Ingram North (RHS-1942), Irene, and Lyndell.
He is survived by his children, David and his wife,
Terry; Paul, Steve and his wife, Jennifer; Tim,
Valerie and her husband, Don Burns. Dwain & Jerry
were blessed with ten grandchildren, 16 great-
grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews
who also survive him.
Dwain was a long-time member and deacon of First
Baptist Euless, now Cross City, where he served in
various capacities. His life was characterized by
faith in God, love, prayer, forgiveness, stewardship,
and humor. Dwain enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking,
politics, and most of all, spending time with his
family.
